    You may have already come across the term “disruptive technology” and you may have wondered on what is its meaning. Well, as the term itself suggests, disruptive technology refers to the types of technology which may alter the existing status quo that we have currently. Some examples of this are telephones and digital cameras.

    The invention of telephone has revolutionized the way we send and receive or communicate with other persons such as our families and friends who are in far places. Instead of sending a snail mail which can take up to days or weeks, people then opted to use telephones in communicating with others. With this as an example, we can see how telephone has changed the way we live our lives. (more…)

  • Blackberry Style 9670 : Another Cool And Stylish Smart Phone From Blackberry

    Blackberry Style 9670 has been recently launched in the market. The off track feature of this handset is that it is a CDMA phone that do not work at any network of GSM worldwide. Another thing is that it is a flip phone that has an external QVGA display. Till now, none of the service providers have revealed their Blackberry Style 9670 deals. Thus, they are still a mystery for the mobile phone market.

    The display screen is made of TFT(360 x 400 pixels) that is integrated on the flip out portion of the handset. The another part of the handset is occupied by full QWERTY keyboard and touch-sensitive optical track pad. Blackberry Style 9670 is integrated with a 5 MP, 2592?1944 pixels, auto focus camera together with an LED flash that is featured with Geo-tagging and  image stabilization photography features.   • Know More about Analog to Digital Converters

    Before we are able to fully understand the concept of Analog to Digital conversion, we first should know more about the different kinds of signals that we have today.

    When we are transmitting information over a media or network, the very information that we are trying to send is converted into a form of signal. Signals can be distinguished into two main categories and they are analog and digital.

    Analog signals are the signals that old phone lines use. The common information that is being transmitted using an analog signal is voices, TV signals, and radio signals. The concepts of analog signals can be considered as merely approximation or estimation of information since there is no definite level when it comes to analog signals. (more…)
